Marc Bamuthi Joseph’s multimedia collaboration with Theaster Gates, red, black, and GREEN: a blues, imagines what environmental justice can look like in America’s forgotten neighborhoods. For the SHareOUT, they turn their theater set over to young people who are expressing their own realities through word, beats, media, and conversation: Young Chicago Authors, Kuumba Lynx, YOUmedia, and The MCA Creative Agency.

YOUmedia Films @ Lozano Presents: Knight Moves Chess Club at Lozano meets every Thursdays at 6:00 pm!, Check out some of its participants!. They started here, at the library, at a very young age, and since then they have represented the city in championships across the US! YOUmedia is taking its successful model for 21st-century learning to more Chicago students across the city. Today (11.21.11) we open our doors in the Englewood Community at the Thurgood Marshall Branch Library: 7506 S. Racine Avenue.
