Overview

One Book One Chicago began in the fall of 2001 to encourage all Chicagoans to read the same book at the same time, and discuss a great piece of literature with friends and neighbors. Teens can participate with other young people throughout the city via Mayor Daley’s book clubs and various YOUmedia projects, which range from creating digital photo diaries of Chicago neighborhoods to participating in online book discussions with readers in Ireland.
